Sir Joe's Party in the Park! Result!

Thank you to everyone who came to this years second party in the park on 1st September. The weather was amazingly hot and it was lovely to see all the local support. 

We raised just under £1,500 so thank you to all. The Scout run BBQ raised an amazing £850 towards the wonderful 22nd Wimbledon Group. 

We were delighted to award a certificate to Chris Ziajka for his outstanding contribution to the community of Motspur Park, maintaining the Park in his free time. Chris has always supported the Friends and other sporting organisations that use the park. Having worked for the council for many years, he lives in the Park and is ideally positioned to keep an eye on things and in the absence of a Park keeper we are so glad he is there. He goes above an beyond and can often be seen litter picking, painting and generally keeping things tip top. Thank you Chris on behalf of the whole community.
