Wellness Festival

Join the Friends of Sir Joseph Hood Wellness Festival, created by dPK Holistic Therapy.

 

A festival to celebrate all things wellbeing within our community. Supporting our local providers, practitioners and businesses.

 

Be that environmentally, socially, physical & mental health, mindful practice, doing good, as well as culture and values.

 

Free to attend AND to be involved in.

 

This is an opportunity to bring the community together to showcase what we have in-situ in the surrounding area, plus have lots of fun!

Join us for music, food, dancing, exercise, sport and fitness. An action packed day with stalls, activities and talks.

Talks hosted in The Pavilion

Throughout the day, we will be hosting a number of panel sessions in the Pavilion. We will be covering topics such as Menopause, Mental Health and Children's Wellbeing.

Menopause

Come and join us whilst we talk about what is the menopause/perimenopause, common symptoms to look out for, the midlife / menopause collision, what women can do to help themselves as well as look at lifestyle changes and HRT options.

 

Emma from dPK Holistic Therapy will be joined by:

  • Sandrine - Savoir Fayre Nutrition.

Children's Wellbeing

In this session we will talk about healthy habits for the whole family as a foundation for wellbeing, modelling to children, weekly habits and how to foster an atmosphere that facilitates emotional safety. Join Emma from dPK Holistic Therapy as she talks to the following experts:
