Family Friendly Plastic Free Picnic ​22nd April 1 - 3pm. 

Local families were supported by Sustainable Merton to organise the first Plastic Free Picnic in Merton this year on Earth Day, 22nd April. 

At the picnic in Sir Joe's, Children learnt all about using bees wax wraps instead of cling film and re-usable boxes instead of throw away containers. The feedback was wonderful and the sun shone for all to enjoy. This will be one for the Calendar so watch out for this in 2019.
